Sunday, April 20, 2008Does Tory have super-Cylon strength? In the airlock, when Tory hits Cally, it appears as if Tory has super-Cylon strength. Did Tory always have super-Cylon strength, or did this phenomenon only occur after she discovered she’s Cylon? If Cylons have superhuman strength (without looking especially muscular), why doesn't this biological difference show up on medical exams? Chief Tyrol doesn't seem to have any super-Cylon strength, because Cally knocked him out pretty easily.
Comments:
If the Chief had super strength, why didn't he beat Adama to a pulp in the boxing ring?
If Tigh is a Cylon, why didn't the other Cylons figure that out when he was being held prisoner? The Raiders could figure it out just from a scan. Or maybe it just doesn't matter because the writers are making this all up as they go along.

Hey, yeah, I thought there was something hinky about that scene.
Baltar is too obvious.

The final five were only activated by hearing "All Along The Watchtower," which was written by Bob Dylan. Until that time, they possessed normal strength. Tigh didn't resist the beating by Six in Episode 3 because he was learning to shut off his emotions. FWIW, Chief sure seemed to have super strength when he beat the tar out of Callie, but that's Callie. But seriously...activated by "All Along The Watchtower" tells you all you need to know. Either Adam (not Adama, but the Biblical Adam) was a cylon, and by extension, we all are, or Bob Dylan is.
